STASH TERMS

Terms of Use and End User License Agreement

Effective September 18, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Stash on the web, iPhone and iPad. Stash is provided by Bartlett Labs. By creating an account or using Stash, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Stash.

Your account and household

You must provide accurate account information and protect your sign-in credentials. You are responsible for activity through your account. Household owners control invitations, roles and billing for their Stash household. Only add people and content you are authorized to add. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

License and acceptable use

Bartlett Labs gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use Stash on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the applicable app-store usage rules. You may not misuse Stash, interfere with its operation, bypass access or plan limits, probe another household, reverse engineer the service except where law permits it, or use Stash for unlawful or harmful activity.

Your content

You keep ownership of the inventory records, photos, receipts and other content you add. You give Bartlett Labs permission to host, process, back up and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve Stash and provide features you choose. You are responsible for having the rights needed to upload and share your content. Export and deletion controls are described on our Data page.

Free access and promotional trial

Free access is subject to the limits shown in Stash. When an eligible household is offered the optional 14-day Family trial, starting it does not require payment details, enroll you in a subscription or create an automatic charge. It ends as Free unless the household owner separately purchases a subscription. Trial eligibility and limits are shown before the trial starts.

Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

When paid subscriptions are available, the purchase screen shows the current price, currency and billing period before you confirm. A Family subscription renews automatically for the selected monthly or annual period until cancelled. It provides paid access to one Stash household; Apple Family Sharing does not extend it to another Stash household.

Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe and can be managed through Stash Settings. Purchases made in the iOS app are charged to your Apple Account at confirmation and are managed in your Apple subscription settings. To avoid the next Apple renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Deleting Stash or your Stash account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Refund requests are handled under the rules of the payment provider and applicable law. Restoring a verified Apple purchase restores access only to the Stash household bound to that purchase.

Service changes and account closure

Stash may change features or reasonable usage limits as the service evolves. Material changes to these Terms will be posted with an updated effective date. We may suspend or end access for misuse, security risk or a material breach of these Terms. You may stop using Stash or delete your account at any time. Existing payment obligations and terms that logically survive account closure remain in effect.

Disclaimers and responsibility

Stash is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, Bartlett Labs disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Stash is an organization tool, not an appraisal, insurance, safety or emergency service. AI-assisted suggestions may be incomplete or wrong, and you should review them before saving or relying on them.

To the extent permitted by law, Bartlett Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or opportunities. Bartlett Labs' total liability for a claim relating to Stash will not exceed the amount you paid for Stash during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law does not allow them.

Additional Apple terms

These Terms are between you and Bartlett Labs, not Apple. Bartlett Labs, not Apple, is responsible for Stash and its content, maintenance, support, warranties and claims, including product-liability, legal-compliance and intellectual-property claims. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If Stash fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price paid for the app, if any; to the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on a U.S. government restricted-party list. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Stash. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the Apple-specific terms against you.
