A few practical questions
Can it handle more than one building?
Yes. Put a garage, workshop, truck, trailer and camp in one household, then add rooms, shelves and bins beneath them. Each item has a place and a movement history.
Do I need to enter every item by hand?
Start with a CSV, a queue of photos or a short item form. Photo identification suggests details for you to review before saving. Manual entry remains available when identification is unavailable.
What happens when two people change the same item?
Stash checks the version of a record before applying supported changes. If it has changed, you can review the current state and decide how to continue.
Can I take my information with me?
Settings can prepare a versioned JSON export of your household records and a ZIP containing photos and receipts. Missing files are listed clearly. CSV is available for reviewing and re-importing basic item fields.
